According to data from Russian analytics agency Autostat, a total of 114,500 Chinese Brand Used Cars were sold in Russia in the first half of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 42%. While the overall used car market declined by 0.5% during the same period, the market share of Chinese Brands increased from 2.9% to 4.2%.
In the first half of the year, the top five brands accounted for 70% of total used car sales in China. Chery Automobile led the way with sales of 25,900 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 19%. Geely Auto ranked second with sales of 22,100 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 35%. Haval Motor ranked third with sales of 15,800 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 71%. Lifan Motors ranked fourth with sales of 9,100 units, a year-on-year decrease of 4%. Changan Automobile ranked fifth with sales of 7,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 115%.
Among China's most popular used car models, the Haval Sportage took first place with sales of 5,100 units. The Geely Core followed closely behind with sales of 4,300 units. The previous leader, the Chery Tiggo, dropped to third place with sales of 3,500 units. The Geely Monzaro and Haval F7 also ranked in the top five, with sales of 3,300 and 3,100 units, respectively.
