In terms of brands, Toyota topped the list of imported used car brands with a 21.4% market share. Honda ranked second with a 17.5% market share, BMW third with an 8.6% market share, Kia fourth with a 7.4% market share, and Mercedes-Benz fifth with a 5.2% market share. Among imported used car models, the Honda Freed, Honda Fit, Toyota Corolla, Honda Steptronic, and Honda Vezel were the most popular.
Used cars now account for 55% of all imported cars in Russia, compared to just 30% in the same period last year. Meanwhile, new car imports to Russia fell by 63% in the first half of 2025, and their market share dropped from 70% to 45%.
