The car is 5,017 mm long, 1,970 mm wide, 1,427 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 3,008 mm. Compared with the current P7i, the upgraded model is longer and wider, but the body is slightly lower.
Powertrain options include single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive model is equipped with a 270-kW motor and offers two battery packs: a 74.9-kWh battery pack and a larger 92.2-kWh battery pack. Depending on the configuration, the CLTC range is 625 km to 820 km. The dual-motor configuration consists of a 167-kW front motor and a 270-kW rear motor.
A highlight of the new P7 is the integration of Xpeng Motors’ self-developed Turing AI chip, which is also used in the new Xpeng G7. The car uses a pure vision advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and supports city and highway navigation guided driving (NGP) functions - Xpeng Motors’ response to Tesla’s autopilot navigation system.
