Interior of Ideal i8 Electric SUV to be launched in July

- The interior of the Ideal i8 electric crossover was unveiled in China for the first time. It adopts the brand's iconic design language and consists of two screens.
The Ideal i8 is the brand's first electric SUV and will be launched in July 2025. The electric car applied for a sales license in China in April and announced its core configuration.
Ideal i8 Interior
The interior design of the Ideal i8 is exactly the same as that of other Ideal brand models. The car is equipped with a combination screen consisting of two 15.7-inch screens on the center console. Instead of a traditional instrument panel, the Ideal i8's cabin is equipped with a head-up display. The gear shift lever is located behind the D-shaped flat-bottom steering wheel.
The center console of the Ideal i8 is equipped with two wireless charging pads and a pair of cup holders. There is a spacious storage space under the center console. The notable feature of the new model is the A-pillar. The A-pillar is quite wide and may affect the vehicle's field of vision. The front pillar integrates a driver monitoring camera and a speaker.
Lixiang i8 specifications
Lixiang i8 is a large crossover with a stylish appearance, a body size of 5085/1960/1740 mm, and a wheelbase of 3050 mm. It is equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system with a combined peak power of 400 kW (536 hp). The front motor has a power of 150 kW (201 hp) and the rear motor has a power of 250 kW (335 hp). Thanks to this power system, the i8 has a top speed of 180 km/h.
Lixiang i8 is also equipped with a ternary (NMC) battery and supports 5C charging. Previously, Lixiang Auto announced that the i8 crossover has completed two winters and two summers of durability and performance verification in 300 cities in China. The total test mileage of the model exceeds 8 million kilometers.
